Many Lite takes runners and hikers on a roughly 20.5 mile tour of Letchworth State Park, known as the Grand Canyon of the East, where the Genesee River drops over three major waterfalls between cliffs that rise as high as 600 feet. The route is almost entirely trail, mixing gorge paths, a footbridge, a 127 step staircase and singletrack that climbs in and out of the gorge several times past overlooks and St. Helena. Two aid stations at mile 6 (Tea Tables) and mile 15.5 (High Banks Camp) support the field, and the day closes with a Fall Festival food celebration at the High Banks lodge. A shuttle carries everyone from the finish area to the start at 6:45am sharp.
