The main race covers 4.3 km with the first 900 metres on the motocross track, where short sharp climbs and descents come in quick succession. The remainder follows gently rolling field paths with about 300 metres of gravel. Runners with dogs go off at 15-second intervals from 10:00, and runners without a dog start together at 12:00.

Registration is in the racecourse facilities at Přerovská Rokle. Runners with dogs check in between 8:00 and 9:00, and runners without a dog can register until 10:00.
There are categories for men and women without a dog, men and women with dogs up to 15 kg, and men and women with dogs over 15 kg. Three children's categories run as well.
Runners with dogs start at 10:00 at 15-second intervals so each dog and runner pair has room. Runners without a dog start together at 12:00.
The course is mostly off-road. The first 900 metres run over a motocross track with short steep climbs and descents, then the route continues on gently rolling field paths, including around 300 metres of gravel.
Around 70 runners are expected in the main race, which keeps the atmosphere small and friendly.
