All three routes start and finish at the Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club near Egham and follow the Thames Path out towards Old Windsor Lock. The ground underfoot is flat riverside trail, a national path that can turn muddy on some stretches after rain. Runners pass the meadow at Runnymede where King John sealed the Magna Carta in 1215, and share the trail with walkers and cyclists. The marathon sets off first at 08:30, the half marathon at 09:00 and the 10K at 09:15, and every finisher receives a medal and an e-certificate.

Other questions
The course is really flat and fast and is run along the Thames Path in out and back sections. As this is a national trail we would ask all runners to show courtesy to all other users of the trail as there will be a number of walkers and cyclists using this trail. The conditions are weather dependant and if it rains the Thames Path trail can get muddy on certain stretches of the trail but the organisers personally recommend using road shoes. At the turnaround point checkpoint at the Old Windsor Lock, please move out of the way of your fellow runners if you stop to re-fuel to avoid congestion.
The 2 check points on course at the Start / Finish and at the Old Windsor Lock will have a selection of food and drinks including High 5 Electrolyte drinks, High 5 Sports Gels, flapjacks, pretzels, jelly babies, fruit cordial and water.
The organisers personally recommend road shoes. The Thames Path can get muddy on certain stretches when it rains, but the surface remains flat throughout.
The Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club race HQ offers toilets, changing and dressing rooms, showers and bag drop, with timing chips, drink and nutrition stations, medical assistance and accident insurance included in your entry.
