Lift the Curfew Run is a free, women-only 5 km community run held on the streets of Royal Tunbridge Wells on Tuesday 3 November 2026. The outing is easy-paced and social, led by local running groups, and it takes place on a short road route around Mount Pleasant Road in the town. Participants are asked to wear hi-viz clothing and, where possible, bring a head-torch, while organisers hand out glo-sticks for extra visibility. The event is designed to make outdoor activity feel safer for women as the nights draw in, and it is planned to last about one hour.
