Lhotecká Kaštanka is a small Czech running event held in the village of Žilina in the Středočeský kraj on Saturday 31 October 2026. Participants choose between a main race of roughly 15 kilometres and a shorter 8 kilometre event reserved for men over 70. The listing gives no detail on the course itself, so runners should confirm the route, surface and start times with the organiser on the Kladno marathon website. It is a low-key, community-style race rather than a large city event.

Other questions
The event takes place in Žilina in the Středočeský kraj region of Czechia. The listing does not give a precise start point or assembly area, so confirm the meeting place on the organiser's website before travelling.
Late October in central Bohemia is usually cool and often damp, with temperatures in single figures or low teens Celsius at the start. Bring layers you can shed and expect leaves and possibly mud underfoot on village roads and paths.
Aid station details are not published here. For a 15 kilometre race one water point is typical, and the 8 kilometre race may have none, so carry your own drink if you need regular hydration.
