Les Arcs Star Trail - 11K

The cancellation and transfer policy has not been published yet for the Les Arcs Star Trail 11K. Typically for trail events in France, refunds are limited or not available after a certain date, but transfers to another participant are sometimes allowed under specific conditions. Race check-in will take place at the start area in Arc 1800 on the morning of the race, 12 March 2027. You should plan to arrive at least one hour before the start to collect your bib, have it verified, and warm up. The exact start time and location will be announced on the official event page.

The race is typically started in waves or a mass start. Listen to the announcer for instructions and head to the start line in plenty of time. At the finish line, you will receive your medal and have access to basic refreshments. The atmosphere is friendly and 'alpine', with a focus on enjoying the trail and scenic route.

The nearest major airports are Geneva (GVA) and Lyon (LYS), both about 2.5-3 hours by car. From there, you can take a train to Bourg-Saint-Maurice, which has direct TGV service from Paris in winter. From Bourg-Saint-Maurice, take the funicular railway (Bourg-Saint-Maurice/Arc 1600) up to the resort area. Free shuttles connect the different Arc villages (1600, 1800, 1950).

The race is a mountain trail at altitude, and in March snow and ice are possible. We strongly recommend trail running shoes with good grip (ideally with lugs). Wear layered clothing: a base layer, insulating mid-layer, and a windproof/waterproof outer jacket. A hat and thin gloves are often essential. Full mandatory equipment will be confirmed by the organizer.
