The Laufveranstaltung des TVO Offenbach an der Queich is a traditional autumn running day hosted by the local gymnastics and sports club in the village of Offenbach an der Queich in the southern Palatinate. Three separate starts are offered on the same morning: a 10 kilometre Volkslauf at 10:00, a 5 kilometre Volkslauf at 10:10, and a 5 kilometre walking category at 10:12, so runners and walkers of all ages share the same event. The courses run through and around the village and its surrounding countryside, and the field is deliberately small, which gives the day an easy, friendly club atmosphere rather than a big-city race feel. The event has been held in October for many years, with editions running from at least 2017 onwards, and the 2020 edition was staged as a virtual race.

Small club races of this type normally accept late entries at the registration desk on the morning of the event, provided the entry limit has not been reached. Arrive well before the 10:00 start to allow time for signing in.
Yes. Alongside the 10 km and 5 km runs there is a separate 5 km walking category that sets off five minutes after the 5 km run, so walkers are not mixed in with the runners at the start.
The event goes ahead in ordinary autumn rain and wind, and October in the Palatinate can be cool and damp, so dress in layers. Any short-notice change or cancellation would be announced by the organising club through its own channels.
This is a club-organised village race with a field of roughly under 100 participants. It feels friendly and low key, with plenty of local support along the course and a relaxed morning rather than the crowds of a big city event.
