La Vérotière is a 10 km night race that starts and finishes at the Palais des Sports on Rue Emile Lavezzari in Berck-Plage, on the Opal Coast. The route mixes road, coastal path and sand, all covered after dark, which is why a headlamp is compulsory for every runner. Bib collection runs through the afternoon and the whole field sets off together at 17:30. Now in its 18th edition, the race is organised by the Berck Sports Department and chip timed by ChronOpale.
