Runners start and finish at Marina Port Premià de Mar, covering 21.1 km of completely flat asphalt along the Maresme coast north of Barcelona. With only 12 metres of climbing and 12 metres of descent over the whole route, it is billed as the flattest half marathon in Catalonia. Three liquid and two solid aid stations line the course, and the day also features four age categories, a children's race, a wheelchair division, chip timing with bag storage and a post-race massage service. Part of the event proceeds go to a solidarity cause.
