La Corsa della Bora is a winter trail running event set in the Gulf of Trieste, crossing the Karst plateau between Italy and Slovenia. It features seven distances from 4 km to 116 km, all starting and finishing at the PortoPiccolo Bora Village. Runners experience a unique landscape of rocky coastline, pine forests, hidden dolines, and historic World War I trenches, often swept by the powerful Bora wind. The event is known for its warm atmosphere, local food at aid stations, and a truly international field.
