La CapSolid'Erre is a winter trail event staged in and around Doullens, a small town in the Somme department of northern France. Runners pick between a 17 kilometre trail and a shorter 8 kilometre trail, both of which use the paths and tracks around the town. The event is held on the final Sunday of January, which in this part of Hauts-de-France usually means cold air, soft ground and a real chance of rain or frost underfoot. Entries are handled through the organiser's registration platform, and the organiser's own page remains the place to confirm start times, route details and any last-minute changes.

The event is scheduled for Sunday 31 January 2027. It is a single-day trail event, so everything happens on that Sunday in Doullens.
The event is based in Doullens, a town in the Somme department within the Hauts-de-France region of northern France. Detailed start and finish locations are published by the organiser closer to race day.
The courses are trail routes in northern France in the middle of winter. Expect mud, grass tracks and possibly frost or standing water, so trail shoes with decent grip are the sensible choice, and road shoes may struggle after rain.
Doullens in late January is typically cold and damp, with temperatures often in the low single digits and a real chance of rain, wind or morning frost. Layering with a light waterproof jacket and gloves is the usual approach.
Doullens sits in the Somme countryside north of Amiens and south-west of Arras, both of which have mainline rail connections from Paris and Lille. From either city the final leg is by road, so most participants drive or arrange a lift.
