Overview

The race follows island trails on Kasado Island in Kudamatsu City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, with wide views over the many islands of the Seto Inland Sea. It is produced by Shunsuke Okumiya and offers a 30km long course, a 17km short course and a 30km three-person trail relay, all with checkpoint cut-offs.

The practical side

Qualification

Open to runners aged 12 and over who can complete the course within the time limit without getting lost; under 18s need parental consent; participants must submit a pledge, health check sheet and kit checklist, and must have had a health check within the past year and watched the online outdoor first-aid course.
