The Kokava Trail takes place in the Veporské vrchy and Stolické vrchy mountains of central Slovakia, with start and finish in Kokava nad Rimavicou. The main 78 km ultra route is a loop with 3330 m of elevation gain, mixing meadows, forest trails and about 10% asphalt. A shorter 23 km Pasiečky Trail offers a less demanding but still challenging mountain circuit. The event is part of the Slovak Ultratrail League and both courses are ITRA certified, with aid stations, finish refreshments and showers available.

The routes are ITRA certified. GPX files are available for download, and there are checkpoints with time limits. Marshals are present at the aid stations.
Send a cancellation email to [email protected] before 25 August 2026, 20:00. A cancellation fee of 15 EUR (Kokava Trail) or 10 EUR (Pasiečky Trail) will be deducted from the refund.
Yes, Kokava Trail is ITRA certified with 3 points, and Pasiečky Trail with 1 point. Athletes with a high ITRA Performance Index may receive a discount on the entry fee.
Mandatory gear includes an isothermal foil, a mobile phone, a hydration container, a cup, an ID document, a race number, and for Kokava Trail also a headlamp and a GPS device. See the full list on the event page.
After registration, you will receive an email with payment instructions. The entry fee must be paid by bank transfer in EUR to the account of o.z. SLOVAK ULTRA TRAIL within 7 calendar days from the date the email is sent. Cash and payments in other currencies are not accepted. If the fee is not received within this deadline, your registration will be cancelled without further notice and you will not be able to register again for this edition.
