Other questions
The 30 km and half marathon have JAAF-registered and general divisions for men and women aged 18 and over, and high school students cannot enter. The 10 km is open to high school students and above, the 5 km to junior high school students and above, and the parent-child 1 km races are for one adult with one child, primary school age in race 1 and preschool age in race 2.
Registered runners must record their 2026 JAAF registration details in their RUNNET My Page profile first, including the association name, registration number, club name and JAAF ID. The JAAF ID field is mandatory and the entry button does not appear without it. If your registration cannot be confirmed by the entry deadline, your entry is switched to the general division. Runners in associations that no longer issue registration numbers should enter 'no number' in the registration number field.
Yes. The 30 km, half marathon and 10 km are run on Japan Association of Athletics Federations certified courses, so a measured, accurate time can be recorded. Certification judges are present on the day.
The course is a 5 km loop inside the park, starting and finishing on the ginkgo avenue (Ichou Namiki) beside the Undo Hiroba plaza. The 30 km covers six loops, the 10 km two loops and the 5 km one loop, and timing mats record every 5 km so you can follow your splits in real time.
The fee includes chip timing with 5 km splits, a participation prize, a record certificate, a results booklet, aid stations every 2.5 km and after the finish, the Showa Memorial Park entrance fee (450 yen for adults, free for junior high school students and younger), baggage storage excluding valuables, and sports injury insurance taken out by the organiser.
