The Kippen Trail Race covers roughly five miles on a route that leaves the football pavilion at the village sports field and climbs gently into the countryside around Kippen. The ground underfoot is mostly trail, with one short stretch on a very quiet road where runners should stay aware of passing traffic. Race HQ is the pavilion on the sports field, which handles number pick-up, toilets, bag storage and limited changing facilities. It is a low key, friendly morning: trophies go to the first male and first female finishers, several spot prizes are drawn afterwards, and every entry includes cake and coffee at the finish.
