Kilsbergen Ner & Upp is a trail race that sends runners straight down the side of the mountain and then all the way back up again. The route covers roughly ten kilometres of forest trail around Ånnaboda with about 300 metres of climbing, so the descent is fast and technical and the return leg is a long, honest climb. Start and finish both sit at Utsikten in Ånnaboda, where the ridge opens up wide views over the surrounding countryside. The race is held on a Sunday in late November, when the woods are quiet, the light is low and the ground underfoot can be wet, covered in leaves or already dusted with the first snow.
