RefundsWe do not offer refunds for illness, injury, or any other reason. However, we offer flexible deferral and transfer options.

TransfersYou may transfer your entry to a friend or colleague up to 10:00, 48 hours before the race. The new runner must provide their details and use an official race number. Transferring without notifying us is prohibited.

DeferralsYes, you may defer your entry up to 10:00, 48 hours before the race. Each deferral incurs a £5 charge. You can defer to the following year's race or to another race hosted by the same organiser.

If the race is cancelledIf the event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, refunds cannot be offered. We will look to rearrange the event. If you cannot attend the rearranged date, we offer a deferral or transfer to a new runner or possibly a transfer to another Nice Work managed event.

Bad weatherOn race day, if the weather is severe or forecast to become severe, the race start time may change, the race may be postponed or the event may be cancelled.

Minimum ageHalf marathon participants must be 17 years or older on race day, and marathon participants must be 18 years or older.

HeadphonesIn-ear and over-ear headphones are not permitted. Bone-conducting headphones are allowed, but volume should be low enough to hear marshal instructions.
