The Kempen Trail sets off on Sunday 6 December 2026 into the woods and heathland of the Brabantse Kempen, with a choice of 33 km, 17 km and 11 km routes. The ground underfoot is a mix of soft forest trail and sandy heath path, and the mood is deliberately unhurried: there is no official timekeeping, so the day is about enjoying the nature and the surroundings rather than chasing a clock. Entries close on Sunday 29 November 2026 and no registration is possible on the day, so everyone on the start line has signed up in good time. Participants must be at least 16 years old and take part at their own risk. Start numbers can be looked up online beforehand, and the full running order for the day is published in the event programme.
