The Kawasaki Tamagawa Marathon is based at Uvance Todoroki Stadium by Fujitsu, also known as Todoroki Athletics Stadium and the home ground of Kawasaki Frontale, which serves as both the start and finish area for every event. Race day offers six options: a half marathon, a 10km, a 10km pair running event, a 3km, a 1km wheelchair race and a family fun running event of about 1km for parents and children. The day opens with a ceremony at 09:00, the half marathon sets off at 09:15, and the last event, the family fun running, starts at 12:05. There is no race day reception desk, so runners gather at the start line at their allotted time, having received their number card by post in early November. Finishers receive a participation T-shirt and a web record certificate, and the organiser provides a drinks service along with baggage storage, excluding valuables.
