The KAILAS FUGA training event series takes trail runners onto the wooded hills and archaeological grounds around Hangzhou in Zhejiang, running through the 2026 season from late April to early October. The Moganshan station race covers 22 km of mixed mountain trail with roughly 1,430 m of climbing and 1,415 m of descent, passing forest and the ancient Liangzhu cultural sites. Three aid stations sit along the route and runners have six hours to reach the finish, which keeps the day achievable for experienced trail runners while still asking for real climbing legs. Entries are solo, and the field is capped at around 700 runners.

Other questions
It is run as a training competition, part of a series of stations organised under the KAILAS FUGA banner together with the UTO-supported first hundred off-road training competition. Results are recorded, but the spirit of the day is training and development on mountain trails.
Participation is listed as solo, so each runner completes the course on their own.
The route mixes forest singletrack with old stone paths, so trail shoes with good grip are the sensible choice, especially for the long descents.
