Kagawa Marathon 2027 returns for its second edition on 21 March 2027. The race sets off from the waterfront in front of Anabuki Arena Kagawa in Takamatsu, with the Seto Inland Sea and its islands in view, and the marathon finishes inside the arena's main hall. The 42.195km marathon follows a certified road course through Takamatsu City and Ayagawa Town with a six-hour limit measured at the 41.6km point. Shorter Takamatsu Fun Run races of about 3km and about 1km use the same start and finish on the same morning, giving families, school children and first-timers their own race alongside the marathon.

Fun Run participants receive their athlete bib and related items by post to the address registered with RUNNET before race day. Shipping is planned for mid-February 2027. If your registered address changes, update it through My Page by 25 December 2026. Without the bib on race day you cannot start, so keep it somewhere safe.
Yes. Marathon runners complete reception on 20 March 2027 between 10:00 and 19:00 at Anabuki Arena Kagawa. If attending in person is genuinely unavoidable, a proxy can complete reception on your behalf. Fun Run entrants do not attend reception because their bibs are posted to them in advance.
Runners who have difficulty running alone because of a disability may be accompanied by one guide runner at no charge. Guide dogs are not permitted. Identity is checked at reception with a disability certificate or equivalent document.
Entries close early if capacity is reached, even before the published closing date. The marathon field is limited to 11,000 runners, and the Takamatsu Fun Run events together are limited to 1,000 runners.
Your entry is completed once payment is received. Entries that are not paid for by the deadline become invalid.
