Jessheim Vintermaraton takes place on Sunday 8 November 2026 in Jessheim, Norway, with a marathon, a half marathon and a 10 km race all run on roads. The arena area around the athletics stadium, football stadium, Gystadmarka school and the multipurpose hall holds the start, the finish and participant services, so everything happens in one place. Winter conditions can bring snow and ice, and the organiser prepares the course according to what the weather delivers. The marathon goes off at 10:00, the half marathon at 10:05 and the 10 km at 13:00, with a five-hour limit on the marathon and an optional 09:00 early start for anyone expecting to need more time. The event is staged by volunteers from Ullensaker/Kisa IL Friidrett together with Løpegruppa Jessheim.

Other questions
The race is held in early November in inland Norway, so snow and ice are possible. The organiser prepares the course according to whatever the conditions turn out to be on race day.
Because snow and ice are possible, winter road shoes or shoes fitted with studs are a sensible choice. The organiser prepares the course for the conditions, but grip on cold surfaces is the main thing to plan for.
Yes. Because the start, finish and participant services sit together in the arena area, it is straightforward for spectators to watch the racing without moving between distant points on the course.
