The Jesolo Moonlight Half Marathon sets off at sunset from Piazza Milano and leads runners out through the Jesolo countryside, alongside the Cavetta Canal, past the tourist marina of Cortellazzo and on to the mouth of the River Piave. The route then winds through the green parks of the pinewood and along the beach, with the sea running beside the course, before returning to Piazza Milano in the middle of Jesolo's nightlife. Everything is on road and the profile stays flat and fast, with the half marathon now run as a single 21K lap rather than as a point to point course. All pre-race and post-race services, including bib collection at the Moonlight Village, are gathered in Piazza Milano. A shorter 10K race starts earlier in the evening over the same start and finish.
