The Iberika Trail Mataelpino is held in the village of Mataelpino in the Sierra de Guadarrama north of Madrid, with four distance options ranging from 22 km down to 5 km. Runners can choose between the long and short trail races, a fast 5 km trail and a 5 km walking route.

ParkingParking is available in Mataelpino but is limited, so arrive early. The village is about 50 km north of Madrid, reachable by car via the A-6 or M-607. Public buses also run from Madrid (e.g., Moncloa) to Mataelpino, but check schedules in advance.

Public transportThe nearest airport is Madrid-Barajas (MAD), about 55 km away. The closest train stations are in Cercedilla or Collado Villalba, from where you can take a bus or taxi to Mataelpino. Allow extra time for connections on race morning.
