Iași Half Marathon is the largest running event in northeastern Romania, starting in front of the Palace of Culture on main streets closed to car traffic. The route climbs up to the green Copou area, and the event supports children from disadvantaged backgrounds through Rotary Club Iași Copou, Save the Children Iași, and the Iași City Hall.
