Himmelbjergløbet 2026

The courses are hilly trail routes through the scenic Søhøjlandet area, starting and finishing at the tower on Himmelbjerget. All distances are loops. There is also a 5 km walk.

The routes are primarily on forest trails and can be very difficult and muddy depending on the weather, with steep and uneven terrain. A good warm-up is recommended to avoid injuries. Routes are marked with the Himmelbjerg logo.

Remember that daylight saving time ends. Participation is discouraged if you lack training or have even mild infections with fever.

The 5 km event is a walk, not a timed race. It is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, with an estimated average time of 1 hour 40 minutes at a moderate walking pace.

Yes, late registration is available on the day at the event site. Go to the late-entry tent on the grass area. Payment must be made by cash or MobilePay, and a handling fee applies. Online registration closes on 24 October 2026 at 23:59.
