The Herrieder Stadtlauf is a one-day town race held in Herrieden, a small town in the Franconian part of Bavaria, on Saturday 24 April 2027. The programme is built around a 10 kilometre main race, supported by a club relay, an open fun run and a full ladder of youth and school races running from under 8 up to under 20. The courses run on town streets and paved paths rather than on trails, so road shoes are the right choice. Entry and results are handled through the Race Result platform, and the local organisers publish final start times and course details there as race day approaches.

Other questions
The main event is the Hauptlauf over 10 kilometres. Alongside it there is an Aktiv-Staffel relay, a Jedermannlauf open fun run, youth races for under 16, under 18 and under 20, and school races for under 8, under 10, under 12 and under 14.
The Aktiv-Staffel is a relay event run as part of the same day. Teams split the course between their members instead of one runner covering the whole distance. Check the entry page for team size and category rules.
The Jedermannlauf is an open fun run for anyone who wants to take part without chasing a fast time. It is the most relaxed option on the programme and a good first race for newcomers.
Yes. A town-centre race is easy to watch, and spectators can usually move between several points on the course. The organisers may publish recommended viewing spots nearer the date.
Road races generally go ahead in rain. The organiser decides whether conditions are safe, and any change to the schedule would be announced on the official event page, which is worth checking on the morning of the race.
