Runners and cyclists share a single 8.5 km course from Bradford & Bingley Sports Club, gaining 288 m as it climbs onto the moorland above Bingley in the South/West Pennines. The race is listed as FRA category BS and only partly marked, so competitors need a little route finding and the confidence to look after themselves on fell ground. Registration opens at 11:30 and the race starts at 13:30, with pre-entry closing at 9am on the morning of the race and no entry on the day. The first ten in each of the runner and cyclist categories score towards the team competition for the overall winners, and the race carries its own insurance for both runners and cyclists rather than an FRA permit.

Other questions
No. Harriers V Cyclists is pre-entry only, and there is no entry on the day.
No. The race does not hold a permit or insurance from the Fell Runners Association. It is covered by its own race insurance, which covers both runners and cyclists.
Yes. The first ten in the runner category and the first ten in the cyclist category score towards the team competition for the overall winners. Teams are not declared in advance through the standard teams entry, so check with the organiser how your club should register its scorers.
Runners and cyclists take on the same 8.5 km course on the same day, with separate categories and separate scoring. Cyclists need to be confident on rough, steep fell ground and should be aware that they share the route with runners.
Race information is handled by the race organiser, Andy Brown, who can be reached on 07974 430266 or by post at Allencroft, Crownest Road, Bingley, West Yorkshire, BD16 4HQ.
