No. The day is a multi-discipline event that also includes gravel bike categories for riders aged 18 to 40 and 40 and over, mountain bike categories, and a mini bike challenge alongside the running races.
The event is built around Halloween and many participants race in costumes. It is not required, but a costume adds to the atmosphere around the start and finish area.
The event is held in a forest in late October, so rain and mud are possible. Any decision about changing or cancelling the programme is made by the organiser and announced on their website and social channels.
