Running in Ovar means running in one of the most welcoming cities in Portugal. Known for its fast course and the total support of the local population, the Ovar Half Marathon is a cult race for federated and amateur athletes seeking to test their form on a route without major elevation changes.

A partida está marcada para as 10:00, tanto para a Meia Maratona como para a corrida de 10 km.
A partida e a chegada são junto à Praça das Galinhas, no centro de Ovar.
O percurso é rápido e plano, atravessa a cidade, passa pela Estrada da Ria/Furadouro, pelo Pinhal de Ovar e regressa ao centro. São 21,1 km com poucas subidas.
O centro de Ovar fica condicionado. Recomenda-se estacionar nas zonas periféricas, perto da estação de comboios, e caminhar até ao centro.
