Other questions
Yes, it is strongly advisable. The race opens the high mountain trail running calendar in Aragón, with courses above 2,600 m of altitude and up to 2,640 m of accumulated climbing on the longest distance.
The courses are mainly trail, with 30% dirt track or forest road, 4% cross-country and only 1% asphalt, all of it inside the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park.
This is a high mountain race, and in June there are still snow fields on the upper sections, while the rivers run at their peak from the melt. Bring warm layers and rain protection and check the forecast in the days before the race.
The event is cardio-protected thanks to the collaboration of Proyecto+Vida, who are present in several areas of the route, alongside Resetcardio and the physiotherapy team from the Universidad de San Jorge who look after tired legs at the finish.
Yes. The organisation keeps a sports fair beside the finish, with stands that went down very well with runners and visitors at the last edition, plus a finish-line aid station that is being improved this year.
