The main 10 km race, the Corrida Principal, is open to junior, senior and veteran athletes. The youth categories cater for the younger age groups within Portuguese athletics.
The town sits in the Aveiro district of northern Portugal, around 30 km from Porto. Porto's Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO) is the closest international airport, and regional buses and trains link the town with Porto, Aveiro and neighbouring towns.
October in northern Portugal can bring rain, so come prepared with suitable clothing. Any decision to delay, shorten or cancel races in bad conditions rests with the organiser, who will publish updates on the event page.
