The Goole Riverbank Challenge 10K follows the banks of the River Ouse on a scenic, multi-terrain route that stays largely away from traffic, with just two road crossings. Runners cover a short section on paths before returning to the riverside, where undulating and varied ground sets the tone for the day. The race starts at 11:00 on 18 July 2027 and is built as an occasion rather than a pure time trial, with a children's fun run, food vendors, live singers and bands, children's activities and the cricket club bar waiting at Goole Town Cricket Club once the last finisher is home.

Other questions
The race is held on Sunday 18 July 2027, starting at 11:00. The course follows the banks of the River Ouse from Goole, and the post-race programme takes place at Goole Town Cricket Club.
It is not designed as an all-out personal best course. The terrain is undulating and varied, mixing riverbank paths with short sections of path, so expect a slower, more testing run than a flat road 10K.
It is multi-terrain. The route runs predominantly along the riverbank with a short section on paths before returning to the riverside. Only two road crossings are involved, so the course is largely traffic-free.
Every finisher receives a high-quality finishers' medal, chip timing with live results, a personalised finishers' certificate, water and refreshments at the finish, and a unique, high-quality keepsake. A technical T-shirt is available if selected at entry for an additional supplement.
The day continues at Goole Town Cricket Club with a children's fun run and an afternoon programme of food, drink, live music and children's activities. Runners are encouraged to stay for the afternoon rather than leaving straight after finishing.
