The Greater Manchester Athletic Association Annual Cross Country Championships take place on Sunday 13 December 2026 at Wythenshawe Park, Wythenshawe Road, on the off-road grass and park ground typical of cross country racing. Athletes compete in age group races, from approximately 3 km for U14 runners up to approximately 10 km for the senior men, with each race using chip timing. Team managers collect numbered bibs that include timing chips and assign them to named athletes, and each team competes in matching club vests. Awards go to the first three individuals in every race and to the scoring members of the top teams, with presentations held after each race. The Women's U18 and U20 races run as a combined team race with separate individual and team awards. First aid is in attendance throughout the day.
