Running Stones are points earned by participating in UTMB World Series events. With your participation in the Gauja Trail 20K, you will collect 1 Running Stone which gives you additional chances to be selected in the draw for the UTMB World Series Finals.
The 20K race is 27km with 450m of elevation gain. It starts and finishes in the heart of Cesis at Rozu laukums. The first 5km and last 5km are mostly getting out of town and back in, with about 17km of beautiful landscapes along the Gauja river.
The maximum allowed race time is 6 hours.
