The Frostwiesenlauf, also known as the Frost Meadows Run, is a winter running event based at the Landhotel Burg im Spreewald in the Spreewald region of Germany. Its routes wind through frosty meadows, woodland and riverside scenery on a mix of surfaces. Rather than a mass start, participants set off individually or in small family groups at any point between 10:00 and 13:00, and the refreshment stations stay open from 10:15 until 13:45. The event is deliberately non-competitive with no timing or ranking, so runners, walkers and hikers of all ages and abilities take part side by side. Every entry includes a finisher medal and an e-certificate.
