The Frostbite Sir Titus Trot is a winter multi-distance run that follows the flat, picturesque towpath of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal from Saltaire in West Yorkshire. Runners choose between 10K, 10 miles, half marathon, 20 miles and a full marathon, all starting and finishing at The Boathouse Inn on Victoria Road. The route is fully marshalled and out and back, with refreshment stations placed roughly every three miles, and the ground underfoot is a mix of canal towpath surfaces. January conditions bring cold temperatures and the chance of icy patches, so winter running gear is essential and entrants are asked to bring a reusable cup for hydration.
