Frontyard Frozen is run on a short 1 km loop at Kaninlandet in Torna Hällestad, in the Skåne countryside. The ground is soft trail throughout, with no asphalt and no gravel road at any point on the lap. Runners get an easy start for the first 600 m, then meet a 100 m climb that gains around 15 m, and finish with a calm 300 m run along a fine woodland path. The format is built on laps, and the aim is to complete as many circuits as you can before the clock stops you, so pacing and running strategy matter as much as raw speed. Distances of 1 km, 10 km and 20 km are offered.
