The Foulees Pexinoises are a nature race put on by a local club in the Sainte-Pezenne district on the edge of Niort, in the Deux-Sevres. The single 11 km discovery trail strings together technical sections, short climbs and singletrack tracks through the surrounding countryside, with repeated changes of pace and open views over the Niortais landscape. The organisers describe the route as one that rewards a good performance despite the elevation. Every runner must show a valid athletics licence or a PPS on the day.

The 2026 date has not been confirmed yet. The listing carries a 'date to come' notice, and the previous edition was held on 30 August 2025, so late August is the usual slot.
Every runner must show a valid athletics licence or a PPS (Parcours de Prevention Sante) that is valid on race day. The organisers remind entrants to bring it with them.
This is a nature course rather than a road race: tracks, singletrack and technical sections follow one another on a rolling profile with plenty of changes of pace.
At 11 km the distance is manageable for a road runner moving onto the trails, but the technical sections and the elevation make it a demanding route rather than a flat, fast one.
No weather policy is published. Nature races in this part of France normally go ahead in rain, with cancellation reserved for exceptional conditions.
