Les Foulées du Maraisthon takes runners into the heart of the Marais Poitevin, with direct access to the marsh and its paths from the start. The courses follow small country roads, white tracks and marshland trails, passing through four communes: Sansais, Le Vanneau-Irleau, Coulon and Le Mazeau in the Vendée. The solo marathon and the 21 km both set off from the Chatelet site in Sansais, while shorter road and trail races plus children's events round out the day. Water and solid food are provided at aid stations along the route.
