The First Southern State Bank Mustang 5K Run/Walk takes participants around the campus of Northeast Alabama Community College in Rainsville, Alabama. The race begins promptly at 8:00 AM from the Athletic Complex at 138 Alabama Highway 35, and the 5 kilometre route runs over paved campus roads and paths. Chip timing is provided for everyone taking part, and runners and walkers are both welcome. All proceeds from the event support scholarships at Northeast Alabama Community College, and a long sleeve race t-shirt is available to those who register early.
