Nearly all runners wear road shoes as the route takes runners along lake paths which are mostly wide, hard gravel bike/walking surfaces.
No, the organiser does not provide energy gels or drinks. There will be an area for entrants to leave their own nutrition, so you must bring your own.
Marathon runners complete the course 7.5 times, and Half Marathon runners complete the course 3.5 times.
