The Firenze Marathon weekend spreads across two days in the heart of Florence. On Sunday 29 November 2026 the 42.195 km marathon sets off at 08:30 from Piazza del Duomo, while the 10K starts at 08:45 from Via Tornabuoni and finishes in Piazza Duomo. Saturday belongs to the shorter events: a 21 km charity relay run by teams of three, each member covering 7 km, and the San Benedetto Ginky Family Run, an approximately 3 km recreational route that starts and finishes at the Ippodromo del Visarno. Organised by Maratona di Firenze SSDRL, the weekend pairs a classic city marathon with relay and family options so that runners of very different ambitions share the same race days.
