Finalloppet is western Sweden's largest cross-country race and has been held since 1968 on the trails around Skatås near Göteborg. Entries range from short 1.9 km and 2.3 km distances to a 5.3 km, a 10 km and a 19 km course. The routes run through the scenic Skatås nature area, marked with orange arrows and green kilometre signs, with safety staff stationed at key crossings.
