The FAST Pace Race is held at the Cumming Fairgrounds and sends runners out onto a point-to-point road course that opens with roughly half a mile of downhill running. Both the 5K and the 10K are chip timed, were designed by runners for runners, and carry an overall elevation drop toward a finish line in front of the fairgrounds. Buses move participants the roughly one mile from the fairgrounds to the start line, and a bag check at the start carries warm up layers back to the Arena Barn. A one mile fun run stays entirely inside the fairgrounds, and all finishers receive medals. Proceeds support prostate cancer awareness, education and early detection screening.

The 5K and 10K finish in front of the Cumming Fairgrounds. Post-race food, beverages and ample restrooms are available just over the covered Castleberry foot bridge near the Arena Barn, followed by the awards presentation.
Proceeds from the FAST Pace Race promote awareness and provide education about prostate cancer, the importance of screening and early detection. The event is presented by the Forsyth Area Striders Team (F.A.S.T.) with the Prostate Condition Education Council (PCEC), and title sponsor Advanced Urology.
The Prostate Awareness and Cancer Education (PACE) Race Series educates men and women on prostate cancer, raises awareness of the disease and emphasises the importance of a healthy lifestyle. It began in 2002 and features a team of celebrity runners including marathoners Bill Rodgers, Benji Durden and Bart Yasso.
