The race is run in Desa Pattiro Deceng in Maros Regency, South Sulawesi, as part of the exhibition programme of PORPROV Sulawesi Selatan XVIII 2026. The single short-distance category covers 42.92 km of trail with 2,700 m of climbing and 2,700 m of descent, so the day is spent on sustained mountain terrain rather than flat roads. Runners start at 03:00 on 4 October and have 12 hours to reach the finish, passing five aid stations along the way. The field is capped at 100 solo entrants, and entry is arranged directly with ALTI, the Indonesian Trail Running Association, through its South Sulawesi branches.
