The Evia Ultra Trail is a 110 km mountain race that sets off at 05:00 from Steni on the island of Evia in Greece. Runners climb roughly 5,500 m across a course that mixes 54% paths, 39% tracks and 7% roads, and they have 26 hours to reach the finish. The event is organised by the Association of Runners of Evia. Because the route is exposed to mountain weather, the organisers have shortened it in the past, with the 2026 edition reduced to 46 km.

Other questions
No qualification standard is published for this race. Because it is a 110 km mountain ultra with roughly 5,500 m of climbing and a 26 hour limit, the organiser expects entrants to have suitable long distance trail experience. Contact the organiser if you are unsure whether your background is sufficient.
The route is almost entirely off road, made up of 54% footpaths, 39% vehicle tracks and 7% roads. Expect long climbs and descents on mountain paths rather than smooth surfaces.
Mountain weather on Evia can be severe. The organisers have shortened the course before, with the 2026 edition cut from 110 km to 46 km. Any change for the 2027 race will be announced by the organiser, so check the official page in the days before the race.
Steni sits on the island of Evia, north of Athens. Most runners fly into Athens and drive or take a bus north over the Evripos bridge or by ferry to the island, then continue to Steni. A car is the most practical way to reach the village and the start area.
This event is not eligible for the DUV ultra ranking and carries no IAU label. It is a standalone Greek mountain ultra organised by the Association of Runners of Evia.
