The Erfurter HEROS Weihnachtslauf is staged in Erfurt, the capital of Thüringen in central Germany, on Sunday 20 December 2026. Runners take on a single 8 kilometre course, a distance that suits anyone looking for a brisk winter outing shortly before Christmas. The listing gives no detail on the route, the surface underfoot or the start time, so the organiser's own website is the place to confirm those points. Full entry information and the latest updates are published at spendenmarsch.org.

Other questions
The event as listed offers one distance, an 8 kilometre run. If the organiser adds a children's race or a shorter fun run, it will appear on their own website first.
The listing confirms Erfurt in Thüringen as the host city but does not name the venue or the start point. Check the organiser's website for the meeting point and any last minute changes.
Spectators are generally welcome at German city races, and an 8 kilometre course is short enough to see a runner at more than one point. Viewing spots depend on the final route, which is published by the organiser.
Eight kilometres is a friendly distance for newer runners, whether you jog it or race it. If you are new to running, aim to build up to the distance over several weeks before race day rather than starting cold in December.
Der nächste Spendenmarsch findet am Samstag, 19.06.2027 statt.
