This guided 10 km trail run takes place on local paths and tracks around Milngavie, using sections of the Clyde Coastal path and the West Highland Way along with other nearby trails. The run begins in daylight, but the group is expected to finish in the dark or getting dark, so a head torch is essential. Runs are led by a qualified, experienced and first aid trained guide, and they are social outings rather than races, with the group regrouping at various points so that no one is left behind. Group sizes are kept small to support safety, and the event is organised on a not-for-profit basis.
