The 10K completes four laps of the flat 2.5km park loop, with chip timing and a bespoke finisher medal for all finishers. The multi-lap format means runners pass the same gardens and paths several times, so keeping track of the lap count is the runner's own responsibility.

Both the start and finish are in Duthie Park on Polmuir Road in Aberdeen, on the banks of the River Dee in the Ferryhill area. The organiser has provided a Google Maps directions link for the park from the event page.
The course is fully marked with kilometre markers and directional arrows, and friendly marshals are stationed throughout. The route is designed to make the most of the whole park, so you will be guided around each loop.
Yes. For the 5K, which completes two laps, and the 10K, which completes four laps, runners are responsible for keeping track of their own lap count.
Registration opens at 9am on race day, and the 5K and 10K both start at 10am. The Kids Race starts at 9:30 AM and the Toddler Dash at 9:55 AM, so families with younger runners should plan to arrive a little earlier.
Yes. The multi-lap format of the 5K and 10K gives spectators plenty of opportunities to cheer runners on throughout the race, and the flat park setting makes it easy to follow along.
